Description:
PC70BM is a non-symmetrical fullerene electron acceptor with enhanced absorption characteristics in the visible range of the solar spectrum. This improved absorption helps to increase photon harvesting, allowing for potentially higher photocurrents when using PC70BM instead of PC60BM. For general applications, the 95% purity PC70BM has been proven to generate power conversion efficiencies of over 9% in our laboratories when blended with a low bandgap polymeric donor. For the best performance, the 99% PC70BM is recommended.
