Cannabidivarin (CBDV), or cannabidivarinic acid, is a phytocannabinoid found naturally in cannabis. It has a molecular formula of C19H26O2 and a molecular weight of 286.415, and its CAS number is 24274-48-4.

Uses:

As a cannabinoid, CBDV interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system in a similar way to THC, however, its effects are much more mild and beneficial. It has been found to have anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, anxiogenic, and anti-emetic properties. Studies have also found that CBDV can have anticonvulsant properties, which could benefit those suffering from epileptic seizures. 

CBDV has been gaining more attention recently due to its potential as a therapeutic agent, with some studies showing that it can help reduce symptoms of pain, inflammation, and anxiety, as well as aid in treating certain mental health conditions. Additionally, CBDV has been shown to improve the symptoms of some neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease.
